Corruption is an English word, which has a wide meaning. In Urdu, it means misconduct, corruption, immorality, depravity and depravity, while in Arabic, the word "corruption" is used to mean corruption, perversion and corrupter. The word corruption is used in every language, in every country and in every society for heinous and negative acts and is expressed with dislike, because it is by no means a good practice.
Corruption can also be called "Umm al-Khaba'ith", because priceless evils are born from its womb. Corruption is the enemy of high values, which licks society like a termite and hollows it out from within. It is as clear as day that corruption always plays a central role in the destruction of nations. In any case, the more corruption there is in a nation, the sooner the nation will fall into the abyss of destruction. Is. If corruption is embedded in the veins of a nation, it loses its identity, structure and status as if no high position had ever been given to that nation.
Corruption is as dangerous as cancer and a deadly disease that can lead to social death. If a society is infected, it must be destroyed. Corruption spreads like an untouchable disease in the society and destroys every aspect of life. Even on the society, Agra is clinging from one institution to another, there is nothing left but yellow desolation and even in the settled and successful institutions, after a while, they start talking. Even the moral health institutions of the society fall prey to corruption and become hostages.
In recent days, Transparency International (TI), a global organization that monitors transparency and corruption in the performance of governments around the world, has said in a report that the South Asian region is the most corrupt, with governments responsible. That they strengthen their anti-corruption and anti-corruption agencies and work hard to prevent political interference in the functioning of these institutions, adding that six countries (India, Bangladesh, Maldives, Nepal) including Pakistan And in Sri Lanka, there are serious obstacles to anti-corruption efforts.
Although there are regular government anti-corruption agencies in these countries, corruption has entered these agencies as well, mainly due to political interference in these agencies. Even influential people are not arrested for their corruption. Anti-corruption officers also do not have full freedom to perform their duties. Since the appointments in these agencies are politically motivated, corruption cannot be fully curbed. The governments of these countries also lack the determination and courage needed to fight corruption. That is why half-hearted efforts to curb corruption are not effective. It should be noted that in the past also, the reports of international organizations including Transparency International have been pointing out the continuous increase in corruption.
But the attitude of those in Pakistan who are responsible for improving the situation does not indicate that they care about the damage done to the country by corruption or the escalation of the problems of the people, if at all. If there was any concern, effective and systematic measures would be taken against corruption by eradicating political interference from anti-corruption and anti-corruption agencies and officers would be given complete freedom to touch big corrupt but fish without fear and danger. The government would put an end to corruption, but there is no such thing, because their interests are hampered and the ills of the society remain the same. It is a great pity for Pakistan that at a time when the beloved homeland is facing innumerable difficulties.
A sea of misery surrounds the country. The story of the internal and external problems facing the country is so long that it is almost impossible to count. In these circumstances, some corrupt inhabitants of the same land are bent on tarnishing the holy name of the country in the world with their dark deeds, who are awake in this deep gorge of indifference to The region's honor is at stake. However, our elders did not sacrifice millions of lives for this country.
The purpose of their sacrifices was to achieve a corruption-free society, but perhaps the founders of Pakistan never imagined that some incompetent people who came later would forget our sacrifices and the cause of the country. In this way, the kingdom of God will be disgraced and there will be no one to hold them accountable. The founder of Pakistan, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, in his speech on August 11, 1947, had openly stated that "our biggest problem is bribery and corruption. The Assembly has to take effective steps to eradicate this poison." But now it is corrupt. People are freely corrupting all the laws and causing disgrace and destruction to the country. It is a matter of great shame that corruption has now become such a scourge of our society.
Its branches have opened markets for hundreds of different types of corruption, the roots of which have spread to every sphere of life. Although there are a large number of people everywhere who speak out against corruption, raise their voices against it and consider corruption as a stigma on their foreheads, their voice is not like that of a parrot in a theater. Listen, because the roots of corruption in this society are very strong and deep. In fact, it is these people who bring disgrace to the nation and the country. Millions of people in the country do not commit corruption, but they are definitely victims of corruption. The biggest injustice is that there is no one to bring these corrupt people to justice. However, in developed countries, when a powerful and high-ranking figure is found to be corrupt, there is not even a moment's delay in bringing him to justice, making him a symbol by punishing him, but in our case, Ganga The vomit is flowing. Anti-corruption agencies are in place, but corruption is not controlled. In order to control corruption, it is necessary to follow the "corruption-free" countries, trample on all interests and get our hands on every corrupt person, otherwise the country's notoriety will continue.
